Dear Shari,
I felt the need to send you this thank you letter.
I remember Joe telling me he was going to make a call
to the ad he read in the paper. At that point I was
so upset at the whole process involved with selling
my home I did not care what he did. After all the house
was listed for 6 weeks and we only had 2 showings.
He told me he set up an appointment for someone to
come see the house. The next evening you showed up
at my door to look at the house. Excuse me for being
a little leary at the time; after all I was not really
in the mood for more Real Estate people. I listened
to what you had to say and thank the lord I followed
my instincts. I knew listing my house with you was
the right decision! I had a good feeling. I liked what
you had to say especially the fact that you said you
would be personally involved in the sale of my home.
It was obvious from the initial meeting that you were
someone special.
The former agent's involvement was limited to getting
the listing. She never showed up for the "few" showings
we had. It was rather impressive that you not only
listed the house but actually had a marketing plan.
What I found truly incredible is that you were present
for the showing even when you had to cancel your family
plans. I know you said that it is part of the personal
service that you offer your clients but I thought that
was just the salesperson speaking. I know without a
doubt that it is because of your personal service that
the house sold in 5 days.
Even after the house was under contract you did not
stop. You were on the phone with the buyers home inspector,
the buyers mortgage person, the buyers agent, and even
arranged a contractor to make minor repairs necessary
to close this transaction. You are truly a professional
in every sense of the word.
I wanted to send this recommendation letter to you
so that you could share it with others. I know you
made the sun shine once again for Joe and me.

Shari Gaister
We would have to assume that most of Shari's clients
don't get to know her on the level we have in the
past 2 months, but maybe they do. She's that personable
and that caring. We chose Shari to help us purchase
a home in Maryland contingent on a sale of our
condo in Northern Virginia. With the sale assured,
we spoke with Shari and she presented us with a
wide range of houses. We alone didn't choose our
future home, Shari was as much a part of the process
as we were as she sometimes lead the charge out
of a house we were viewing.
She got to know us personally so quickly; she knew
the house that would fit us and quickly dismissed
those which did not. When we found our home she
wrote the contract that protected us (CONTINGENT
UPON THE SETTLEMENT OF OUR CONDO), and it was approved
in a matter of hours.
When the sale of our condo fell apart at the last
minute, Shari facilitated communications with all
the parties involved with our purchase and kept
everyone appeased the best she could making sure
our interests were protected above all else.
We think it shows credit to Shari's character that
she didn't stay on the outside throughout this
disaster. She became involved. She felt our frustration
and in the end it wasn't a realtor helping us buy
a home, it was Shari who was buying the house with
us. When the sale of our Virginia condo finally
clicked, she was as relieved as we were.
There is no realtor in this area who we would choose
or recommend over her. Communication, email, callbacks,
and service are not only her strong suits but also
her way of business. We whole-heartedly endorse
Shari for anyone looking to buy or sell a home
in the Maryland area.
